About the Delaware Valley Intelligence Center Delaware Valley Intelligence Center (DVIC) was established to create cross-jurisdictional partnerships between local, state, and federal agencies, and private sector participants. The DVIC serves as the central point in the Delaware Valley region for the collection, analysis and timely dissemination of all-hazards information. The fusion center concept is integral to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) strategic initiative for information sharing. Fusion centers are critical to forging strong partnerships and information sharing among state, local, and federal government agencies. It is important that these agencies act upon valid intelligence in order to successfully manage criminal, terrorist and homeland security threats within the DVIC area of operations.  The DVIC produces intelligence analysis for both law enforcement and non-law enforcement personnel, is capable of providing information in real-time to our key partners throughout the United States, and is part of the nationwide fusion center network. The DVIC coordinates with local, state and federal agencies, and members of critical infrastructure sectors to ensure a coordinated intelligence exchange and to disseminate information and all-hazards “best practices.” The DVIC serves as an information source for suspected or actual terrorist acts, natural disasters, criminal activity, and helps to facilitate comprehensive protection strategies. The DVIC is integrated into the national network of fusion centers. These centers have the ability to share information horizontally and vertically with partners at the local, state, tribal and federal levels.
